Women's treatment in the workplace has been extensively discussed in the new era. The new generation understands that women are not to remain limited to households and are as capable as men to perform in the industrial space. This issue has been tackled from a woman's perspective in all discussions, but what is the role of men in helping women achieve equal opportunities and achievements?

We often come across a married woman taking pride in her husband as "Oh, he lets me work." Is this the role men should play in the workplace to ensure gender neutrality? Certainly not. Men need to understand that they aren't providing privileges to their wives by 'letting them work'. It's their fundamental right.
The constitution of women in the labor force has gone up from 30 percent in 1950 to almost 47 percent in 2000. It is expected to reach about 60 percent by 2050, going up by an average annual growth rate of 0.7 percent. Yet we find significantly fewer women in executive positions. Top managerial and administrative positions remain dominated by men. This phenomenon is highly credited to the fact that women are delegated to perform in the household. In contrast, men get the privilege to go out, work, and scale up as high as they want. Although women work along with managing their homes, they are deprived of the conditions to scale because they have household-managing thoughts always running in the back of their heads.

The masculine cult can step in and look for solutions to how household restrictions can be delegated between a couple so that the woman can also scale up to higher positions in her job. By performing equally in household chores, gender neutrality would be easier to practice in the workplace.
When women enter the workplace, they are subjected to innumerable let-downs by their male co-workers, ranging from generic sexism to sexual advances. This is where men should play the most crucial role not to treat a woman co-worker any different from a masculine one. Male co-workers and seniors should provide no extra opportunities to a woman in the name of feminism. Still, they shouldn't deprive a woman counterpart of the current prospects by unfair treatment, thus practicing true feminism. A woman is self-sufficient to reach heights in a workplace up to which a man rose, provided she didn't face bias.

Gender neutrality is a worldwide issue and will harm all of us in some or the other way. We are rooting for equality and equitable treatment in the workplace for all genders. This cannot be achieved by only women working hard to cross the narrow gender boundaries. This also iterates that men should demolish these boundaries which hold women back. Men and women need to work together in unity for this issue. An inclusive workplace environment would enhance efficiency and bring better revenues for the private sector as well as for the national economy, thus being a win-win for all.
